Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and entry points using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Conduct routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and exterior entrances to uphold a professional appearance.
- Assist with light custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, and surface disinfecting throughout the shift.
- Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to appropriate teams.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning and maintenance procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
