We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain engines, including diesel engines, powertrain components, and automotive electrical systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct repairs on standard passenger cars as well as heavy-duty vehicles, including engine overhaul, transmission work, alignment, and suspension repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical issues within vehicle systems.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, and vehicle system inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in dealership or automotive repair shop environments.
- Familiarity with automotive engine technology, including both gasoline and diesel engines.
- Experience working with automotive diagnostics tools and interpreting schematics for electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and repair is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle components safely.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems such as engine repair, electrical systems, body repair (auto body), and general automotive service.
