Order Fulfillment and Inventory Control Specialist

Join our dynamic team as an Order Fulfillment and Inventory Control Specialist! In this vital role, you will be at the heart of our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, priced and shipped expeditiously. Your verifiable expertise in customer order fulfillment will drive the seamless flow of materials, supporting our commitment to exceptional service. This position requires working in cold walk-in freezer conditions and in regular indoor and outdoor temperatures where your skills and prior experience are essential for inventory control, order picking, order pricing and order packing.

Duties

• Accurately pick, price and pack and price customer orders
• Manage inventory levels through ongoing stock checks using our Quickbooks business software.
• Ensure product quality of all picked items, taking corrective measures when necessary.
• When necessary, assist with loading outgoing shipments and unloading incoming shipments.
• Ongoing quality control inspection to verify order accuracy and packaging integrity before customer order dispatch.
• Maintain organized walk-in freezer areas for optimal order picking efficiency.
• Maintain close liaison with both the production departments and the administration staff.

Requirements

• Must have independent and reliable transport.
• Dependability and reliability is essential.
• Proven and verifiable experience within meat & poultry packing organizations, including order fulfillment, picking, pricing, packing and accurate inventory control.
• Must be competent with basic arithmetic for accurate calculation of line item pricing.
• Physical ability and strength to safely lift and handle meat and poultry cases up to 75 lb.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control and accurate order picking, pricing and packing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Being a team player is essential.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
