Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Toast pos for accurate order taking and cash handling
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage cash transactions accurately while handling food orders, payments, and receipts with integrity
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast pos, training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service environment
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant experience or work in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to grow their skills
