Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced restaurant manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in managing teams within the restaurant industry. Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations and be available during service to touch tables and address the needs of guests and staff. Handle inquiries and complaints professionally and tactfully.
- Lead and manage the restaurant staff to deliver outstanding service. Always leading by example to promote a positive and healthy work environment focused on building repeat clientele.
- Uphold company standards and drive guest satisfaction while being proactive, organized and solutions-focused.
- Problem solve on the fly and be able to multi-task.
- Work closely with the management team to brainstorm immediate and long term goals. Be an active participant and offer solutions/input on achieving said goals.
- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting. Take the time to become proficient on the back end (ie. adding menu buttons, changing modifiers, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
- Place orders and maintain inventory systems according to target budgets.
- Be an active participant in team development including hiring, training, professional development, and fair discipline.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in an upscale-casual, fine dining or similar restaurant environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Experience in bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and management practices is essential.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
