Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Servers to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. MUST be able to work nights and weekends(we close at 8, then clean up). The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced food service environments. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a casual restaurant setting. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and guest relations to create memorable experiences for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation as needed
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Clear tables, bussing as necessary, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties when required
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to upsell menu items through suggestive selling techniques
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or kitchen support is advantageous
