Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with consistency, flavor, and presentation in mind
- Follow established recipes, menu specifications, and portion controls to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and preparation techniques
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to during food handling, storage, and cooking processes
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients needed for grilling, communicate shortages or needs to management
Skills
- Extensive experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and grill operation
- Strong knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and portioning of ingredients
