What You'll Do
- Prepare and review partnership, corporate, nonprofit, and individual tax returns
- Research and resolve complex tax issues
- Advise clients on tax planning and business strategies
- Manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional client service
- Mentor and develop staff accountants
- Review workpapers and provide meaningful coaching
- Build strong relationships with clients, attorneys, syndicators, investors, lenders, and other advisors
- Help improve firm processes and contribute to the continued growth of our tax practice
What We're Looking For
- CPA license required
- 5 years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical knowledge of partnership and corporate taxation
- Experience reviewing returns and supervising staff
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Desire to continue learning and growing into a leadership role
Bonus Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
- Real estate partnerships
- Affordable housing (LIHTC)
- Construction and real estate development
- Multi-state taxation
- Familiarity with software (Lacerte Tax, Practice CS, CaseWare)
