Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System industry, is seeking multiple Fabrication Support Technicians to assist our welding and fabrication team in the production of custom metal products. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal shop environment
- Familiarity with basic blueprint or drawing interpretation
- Previous material handling or stockroom experience
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience operating band saws, chop saws, or cold saws to cut metal stock to length
- Experience with angle grinders and bench grinders for deburring, grinding, and surface prep
- Ability to prepare weld joints through grinding, cleaning, and fitup in support of welders
- Previous experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shift
