Automotive Detail Technician

We are a reputable company with 85 years in the auto industry. We are currently looking for a motivated person to help us grow our detail department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interior and Exterior Cleaning: Washing, polishing, and vacuuming vehicles.
• Specialized Cleaning: Shampooing upholstery, cleaning windows, and using specialized tools for engine detailing.
• Inspection and Reporting: Assessing vehicle condition, documenting issues, and reporting malfunctions.
• Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and reordering cleaning supplies and tools.
• Driving and Parking: Transporting cars between locations and parking them safely.

Additional Duties:

• Applying protective treatments: Using waxes, sealants, and other protective agents to enhance paint and protect against damage.
• Minor repairs: Addressing minor paint scratches or other cosmetic issues.
• Quality control: Adhering to company standards and ensuring a high level of quality in all detailing services.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to detail: Meticulous cleaning and restoration of vehicles.
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• Customer service skills: Communicating effectively with clients and understanding their needs.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and tools: Understanding the properties and proper use of various cleaning agents and detailing equipment.
• Experience in the automotive industry: Prior experience in car washing, detailing, or related fields may be preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent: While not always required, a high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.
