What are the responsibilities and job description for the Station Attendant position at Griffith Energy Services?
As a Station Attendant, you will be assisting with customers with pumping gas, filling propane bottles and processing payments.
Specific duties in this role will include:
- Pump gasoline and fill propane bottles
- Collect payments for all sales and complete shift paperwork
- Assist 24 hour fueling customers
- Perform various duties including but not limited to sweeping, picking up trash, washing windows, emptying trash
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers while ensuring environmental compliance
- Assist in all spill clean-up and notify Division Manager immediately
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
As a Station Attendant, you must be pleasant, professional and possess the ability to function equally well in both a team environment and independently.
Specific qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to accurately count money
- Basic math and calculator skills
- Some computer knowledge
- Strong communication and professional customer interaction skills
- Work effectively in a team environment
