Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patients during the pre-admissions process via phone, ensuring that all medical records are accurately documented, all clearances are obtained, and that patients receive the highest standard of care. Your expertise will play a crucial role in coordinating plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patients' health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission, including pre-admit calls and medical history reviews.
- Review and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and anesthesiologists prior to patient procedure
Skills
- Proficient in managing medical records and documentation practices.
- Strong knowledge of acute care protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with infectious disease protocols and patient education.
- Experience with EMR Surgical Information Systems (SIS).
- Experience working in medical office settings or Ambulatory Surgery Centers, required.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
