Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scoreboard / Gym Equipment Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing scoreboards and gym equipment across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment functions flawlessly, providing athletes and gym members with a reliable and engaging experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the enhancement of sports and fitness environments.
Responsibilities
- Install new scoreboards and gym equipment according to technical specifications and schematics
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify and resolve wiring or component issues
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure accurate setup
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment mechanics skills
- Document all installation procedures, maintenance activities, and repairs accurately in logs
Skills
- Strong electrical diagnostics skills with experience interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Mechanical knowledge related to gym equipment and scoreboard components
- Experience with heavy equipment mechanics for handling large or complex installations
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in technical environments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
- Ability to use and operate material lift scissor lift and climb ladders is a must.
