What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory & Assembly Technician position at Griffin Motion, LLC?
Griffin Motion is a manufacturer of precision motion products. We are looking for a talented person to help in the inventory management and assembly our products. Our fast growing company has need for a self starting individual that will be involved in every aspect of the assembly cycle. The right individual will have strong mechanical/electrical aptitude. Attention to detail and a passion for quality are a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory management, order picking and preparation for work orders.
- Assemble company products using company manufacturing documentation and engineering specifications.
- Utilize appropriate machines and tools to install, mount, fasten, align, software upload, software configuration and testing products and components.
- Assist with the incoming receiving inspection as per the company’s Incoming Inspection/Receiving procedures.
- Assist in the packaging and shipping of the company’s finished goods
- Assist in the inventory stock taking process and assist in inventory control procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned by Management and/or Executive Team.
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic, mechanical and software products.
- Understanding of quality inspection and testing processes
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly.
- Proficient in the use of assembly equipment, computer software and tools.
- Basic skill level in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
