A Client Services Producer at New 9 helps drive the Ideal Team Player culture.

Job Summary: As a Client Services Producer you will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of broadcast projects, and delivering exceptional service. This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for media production, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet client needs. This role will also be responsible for field and studio videography and editing equipment and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct front-end coordination/communication including community/organization and contact for sales client commercial production, events and/or special projects.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to accomplish shared goals.
  • Record sound and pictures on video, displaying creativity and good taste and working to meet strict deadlines. Work in adverse conditions when required.
  • Coordinate project and work with other departments to contribute ideas and expertise to the creative process and analyze script content while using video creatively to tell stories.
  • Record and edit video for Marketing, Sales, and Production showing technical competence. Coordinate all technical aspects of field production, pre-event and on location.
  • Write and analyze script content for Marketing, Sales, and Production.
  • This position will represent the station in the community and give a positive image of the station.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for the creative process for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. Understand client needs and objectives and translate them into actionable production plans.
  • Ensure all aspects of production meet quality standards and client expectations. Address any issues or challenges that arise during the production process, providing solutions and maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Conduct production check-ins as needed with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including driving an automobile for company business.

Job Schedule: This is a full-time position primarily working 40 hours per week. You may also be called upon at times to fill in other hours and days of the week to help cover vacations, illnesses, breaking news, severe weather, or special projects/events. This position is not eligible to work remotely.

Skills and Requirements:

  • College degree or trade school experience preferred with emphasis on writing, editing, and video shooting skills. Related experience will be evaluated and may be substituted as years of education.
  • Two years of videography experience working and shooting with studio field cameras and related equipment, project management, or production within the broadcast media industry preferred.
  • Experience in non-linear editing and effects software including but not limited to AVID and Adobe Programs required.
  • Experience with script writing required.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel to work location including offsite production shoots.
  • Link of work sample required.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and have a driving record acceptable to the company.
  • Ability to perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Capable of handling the physical and mental requirements including:
    • ability to verbally communicate in English
    • ability to read computer monitor information (words and data)
    • ability to hear detailed spoken word
    • ability to remain sedentary and to travel to work location
    • ability to perform manual dexterity tasks with hands, fingers
    • ability to analyze data, concentrate, reason, and write
    • ability to perform under emotional stress
    • ability to lift 50 pounds unaided
