Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Roslyn, NY. The Food Runner/Busser/Expo will assist in ensuring a seamless dining experience by efficiently delivering food to guests, bussing tables, and facilitating communication between the front-of-house and kitchen staff. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, supporting servers in resetting tables, expediting food orders, and upholding excellent customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in food service, food & beverage handling, or as an expeditor
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Knowledge and practice of exceptional customer service to foster a welcoming dining atmosphere
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask efficiently, and maintain attention to detail
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods of time
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
