The Role Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance through precision inspections using Zeiss CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment. Verify components against engineering drawings and GD&T standards, document results, and support first article and in-process inspections. Collaborate with production and engineering teams on quality issues, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma/associate degree preferred
- Experience with precision measuring tools and CMM operation
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and ISO 9001
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to follow procedures and work instructions
- Analytical skills for data interpretation, trend identification, and root-cause analysis
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Manufacturing/machining/foundry experience and Calypso software knowledge preferred
