What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker LCSW- IOP/OPS Derby position at Griffin Hospital?
MAIN FUNCTION: Psychiatric Social Worker needed to provide comprehensive psychiatric/mental health services to patients utilizing advanced clinical practice, principles, and theory.
Hours Mondays – Fridays, 8:30 am – 5pm, with 2 evenings possible until 7pm. no weekends
Local travel may be required between multiple sites (Derby, Shelton).
EDUCATION: Masters Level Clinician, with degree from an accredited school with specialization in psychiatric social work.
EXPERIENCE: LCSW required and experience with group therapy and co-occurring disorders preferred. Experience providing psychiatric assessment, and mental health and substance abuse treatment to adults in an outpatient setting
