Experienced Body Shop Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our stable automotive repair facility. Our well established body shop has employee longitivy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the automotive industry, with hands-on experience in various mechanical and repair tasks. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a passion for delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise and train shop staff, providing guidance on best practices in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Oversee scheduling of jobs and allocation of resources to meet customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of tools, parts, and supplies; place orders as necessary.
• Perform hands-on mechanical work as needed, including vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, detailing, and restoration.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Monday-Friday with no Saturdays

Experience

• Previous dealership or body repair shop experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices including auto body repair, detailing, auto glass replacement, heavy lifting, auto restoration, automotive repair, and auto painting.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
