Job Summary:
The Field Technician will assist with installation, operation, and removal of sewer bypass pumping systems.
Job Responsibilities:
· Install, operate, and remove sewer bypass pumping systems.
· Safely load and unload equipment and materials onto trucks and trailers and transport to site.
· Safely operate hand and power tools, pumps, and fusion machines.
· Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, mini excavators, etc.
· Assist in maintaining orderliness of project site and/or shop and yard.
· Effective communication with co-workers, supervisor, and management.
· Other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
· Legal to work in US.
· Pass required drug/alcohol and background screens.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· At least 2 years of hands-on experience in related field.
· Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
· Percent of Travel Required – 75-90%, with occasional extended hours or weekends required.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
· Prior experience in sewer bypass pumping, water/wastewater systems, HDPE pipe fusion, centrifugal pump operation, and CDL Class A or B.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and stand.
· Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
· Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment and tools.
· Continuous walking, stair climbing, and lifting.
· Full range of physical motions associated with general labor work.
· Continual exposure to all outdoor weather conditions (extreme heat and cold); exposure to noise and fumes from motorized equipment.
Compensation:
· Title and/or salary may be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
