Job Summary
The Grier School, an all girls’ private boarding/day school outside of Tyrone, PA in the mountainside village of Birmingham has openings due to a growing enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. Grier is internationally and nationally known. Class sizes average between 8-10 students. Grier has elite academics and has a STEM program within the top 15% of all schools in Pennsylvania and top 20% in the nation. Grier is the #1 school for the arts in Pennsylvania, and is the #1 school in the United States for equestrian sports. Grier has exciting opportunities for qualified candidates in the following position:
Housekeeper (evenings and weekends only)

Division/Department: Facilities / Housekeeping
Reports to: Head of Housekeeping
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
· Follow rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related policies
· Check stocking levels of all supplies and replace when needed and notify Head of Housekeeping of reordering needs
· Keep equipment in good working order
· Report all damages, of equipment or of facility’s property, to Head of Housekeeping
Physical and/or other job Requirements:
· Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
· Be able to lift 50 pounds independently
· Have upper body strength due to all the motions required
· Be able to climb stairs repeatedly throughout the work-day hours
· Be able to work in non-air-conditioned areas
· Be able to follow a schedule and keep areas clean
· Be able to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
· Prioritization and time management skills
· Working quickly without compromising quality of work
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· High School diploma
