This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, and vendor management. You’ll analyze spending, support sourcing decisions, and help create processes that keep our startup fast, cost-efficient, and resilient as we grow.This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys digging into data, improving systems, and working cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.Responsibilities Find, negotiate and manage vendors. Support broader organization in sourcing and vendor selection through data-driven analysis and market researchAnalyze company spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvementsTrack supplier performance, pricing trends, and contract complianceBuild and maintain procurement dashboards, reports, and forecastsPartner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to align purchasing with business needsHelp design and improve procurement processes, policies, and toolsAssist with contract reviews, renewals, and negotiations (as needed)Support ad-hoc analysis related to supply risk, demand planning, and scaling operationsRequired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, operations, or analyticsStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (SQL or Python is a plus)Ability to turn messy data into clear insights and recommendationsStrong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional stakeholdersHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environmentThis describes the ideal candidate; many of us have picked up this expertise along the way.
