The Laborer is responsible for safely aiding the operation of the directional drilling, plowing, and other construction endeavors by GridSource, LLC. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The responsibilities include but not limited to, the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of communication and utility infrastructure.
Pay Range: $20-25 per hour depending on experience

- Performs multiple tasks and responsibilities involving dexterous use of hands and tools.
- Have and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
- Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
- Actively follow GridSource LLC. and Construction policies and procedures.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs.
- While performing the duties of this job, the Employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The Employee must be able to work in an outdoor environment year around in all weather conditions. The Employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock, radiation, and vibration.
- Must have a working knowledge of construction, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general safety standards
- Employees may be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
