Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Construction Supervisor, based in Gulf Breeze, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. The Construction Supervisor will oversee daily site operations of Sub Contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and within budget. Responsibilities include supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, inspecting work to meet quality standards, coordinating with team members, and providing clear communication to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills and experience in site management
- Proficiency in site supervision and inspection to ensure compliance and standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with team members and stakeholders
- Thorough knowledge of Underground construction safety practices and ability to enforce compliance
- Experience in utility construction and familiarity with horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule, combining on-site presence and remote work
- Relevant construction certifications are an advantage
Essential Skills
- Experience in utility/telecom construction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA).
- Ability to read blueprints and use relevant software (MS Office, maybe CAD).
- Valid Driver's License and passing background check

- Project Coordination: Organizes labor, equipment (drills, plows), and materials; manages schedules, budgets, and coordinates with other stakeholders.
- Quality & Compliance: Inspects work for accuracy, ensures adherence to specifications, local regulations, and company policies.
- Reporting & Documentation: Completes daily logs, progress reports, as-built drawings (redlines), and manages billing/cost controls.
- Technical Oversight: May involve interpreting drawings, managing directional drilling, locating equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues.
