Responsibilities:
- Use electronic locating equipment to accurately mark the location of underground utilities
- Interpret utility maps and records to determine the location of underground lines
- Communicate with clients and contractors to coordinate locate requests
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing locate duties
- Maintain accurate records of locate activities and submit reports as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in utility locating preferred
- Knowledge of utility maps and records
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
