The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming enterprise and operational data into clear, accurate, and visually compelling reports and dashboards used by Executive Leadership, Operations Leaders, Customers, and other key business stakeholders.
This role is highly visualization- and insight-focused, with a primary responsibility of developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI, Microsoft Real-Time Intelligence (Microsoft Fabric), and native reporting tools within DigTix, GridHawk’s core SaaS platform.
The Data Analyst partners closely with Data Engineers, Operations leaders, and executive stakeholders to ensure that business questions are translated into meaningful metrics, trends, and narratives that support both real-time decision-making and historical analysis.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver operational, executive, and customer-facing insights.
- Build real-time and near-real-time visualizations using Microsoft Real-Time Intelligence within Microsoft Fabric.
- Leverage reporting and analytics tools within DigTix to produce operational and customer-specific reports.
- Translate business requirements and leadership questions into clear KPIs, metrics, and data visualizations.
- Create dashboards that support:
- Executive-level strategic decision-making
- Operational performance and efficiency
- Customer and client reporting
- Trend analysis and historical performance review
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data models are optimized for analytics and reporting use cases.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across dashboards and reports.
- Apply best practices for data visualization, usability, and storytelling to ensure insights are easily understood by non-technical audiences.
- Develop standardized reporting frameworks, templates, and governance practices.
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, metrics definitions, and data sources.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights in support of leadership requests and operational initiatives.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, performance, and business value.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Reporting-focused role.
- Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education.
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (required), including:
- Data modeling
- DAX
- Power Query
- Performance optimization
- Dashboard and report design best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Real-Time Intelligence and semantic models.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.
- Familiarity with SaaS application reporting, preferably including DigTix or similar operational platforms.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement in operational environments.
- Ability to present data in a way that clearly communicates insights to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple reporting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within data governance, security, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with real-time or streaming data analytics.
- Exposure to geospatial, operational, or field-services data.
- Familiarity with DBT or downstream analytics modeling concepts.
- Experience supporting customer-facing dashboards or external reporting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Minimal physical exertion required.
- Work is performed primarily in a remote / work-from-home environment with occasional in-office days, typically once per quarter.

Salary : $70,000 - $78,500
