The role
We’re adding a EM/TL to our team to build and scale our FinTech core. You'll work closely with business operations and the product engineering team to deliver a backend services that just work. Projects may include automated ledger reconciliation systems, integration with AI/ML models, managing real time and batch data pipelines and optimizing our workflows with devops and developer experience products.

The Tech Stack
Our tech stack is GCP, Go, protobufs and MySQL. We have native mobile apps, an event-driven architecture on the backend and data infrastructure for streaming analytics and ML. Despite a complex domain and data model, most new hires get productive on our stack within a few days.
\n- Lead a small team of backend engineers
- Serve our AI/ML team with infrastructure for training and online inference
- Design, develop and operate a core data systems for ingestion, warehousing and analysis
- Operate and scale our internal treasury management APIs
- Debug, quantify and minimize exceptions
- Set up sustainable best practices for DevOps and FinOps, including monitoring and analytics
- Champion new practices to improve customer experience and enable exponential growth
- Lead and own projects end to end
- 3-5 years experience building and deploying software at scale
- 3-5 years of experience in FinTech, payments or related financial systems
- Experience as an accountable tech lead or engineering manager
- Experience with our tech stack (or willingness to learn quickly/independently)
- Data-driven approach, fluency in SQL and Datadog and as well as Go
- Deep experience with modern cloud-native data architecture
- Motivated, entrepreneurially minded individuals who thrive in an environment with minimal structure, high ownership and technically challenging problems
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into pragmatic technical plans
- An efficient approach to software development that drives accuracy and user experience
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
