The IT Project Manager owns project delivery, enforces IT standards, and aligns technology strategy with business objectives to drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor IT team members, ensuring accountability, clear execution, and professional development.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, workflows, and compliance frameworks across departments.
- Maintain and secure company infrastructure, networks, and systems, minimizing downtime and risk.
- Define and track KPIs for IT staff, focusing on project completion, system reliability, and security compliance.
- Evaluate, recommend, and roll out new technology solutions that support scalability and long-term objectives.
- Manage IT development projects from planning through deployment, ensuring they meet deadlines and business needs.
- Report on IT department performance, project status, and system health to leadership.
- Oversee system access and permissions, conduct audits, and enforce corrective actions to safeguard company data.
- Partner with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing IT teams and projects.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience creating and enforcing IT policies, compliance standards, and KPIs.
- Demonstrated success managing complex IT or software projects end-to-end.
- Ability to balance tactical problem-solving with strategic planning.
