Grid-Line Transportation, Inc. is seeking an innovative and results-driven IT Director to lead our technology strategy, infrastructure, and development teams. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building scalable systems, enforcing IT governance, and driving automation to grow the company.
The ideal candidate is a visionary technologist with strong leadership skills, capable of designing secure, efficient, and modern IT ecosystems that directly support business performance and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Build and lead Grid-Line’s IT and development teams, establishing a high-performance culture focused on delivery, accountability, and innovation.
- Develop and implement a scalable technology roadmap that supports company growth and system integration across departments.
- Oversee cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance to ensure protection and reliability of company systems and data.
- Implement company-wide IT policies covering device management, access control, onboarding/offboarding, and documentation.
- Design and enforce governance frameworks to control and audit all software, hardware, and data systems.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to align technology with business priorities and operational needs.
- Lead automation and AI initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and drive operational visibility.
- Evaluate and prioritize IT projects, balancing innovation with practicality and ROI.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on technology investments and digital transformation.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience as a IT Director, IT Manager or senior technology leader in logistics, transportation, or a related industry.
- 10 years of IT experience, including 5 in executive or management roles.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, cybersecurity, automation, and SaaS environments.
- Track record of scaling IT departments, systems, and teams to support rapid business growth.
- Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to develop KPIs and measure performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-departmentally and translate complex technical needs into business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
