Responsibilities
- Implementing features in a test-driven style.
- Improving the design and architecture of existing applications to allow for greater flexibility and scale.
- Creating fast, clean, reproducible build processes.
- Evaluating new libraries, tools, and technologies, to bring continuous improvement and technical excellence to the organisation.
- Analyzing and improving application performance.
- Working with agility in an environment where teamwork and creativity are the keys to success.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience writing and deploying production code.
- Knowledge of Java, incl. experience with Spring Boot and Gradle.
- Experience writing automated tests and using TDD.
- You are a team player, able to collaborate with others in the team and across the organisation.
- Excellent English, both verbal and written.
- Jersey City office location, 3 days per week.
- BS/BA or equivalent degree in computer science or similar.
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industry.
