Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- As the lead machining, providing technical support and training for other machinists is a large part of the job.
- For the CAM programming side, the responsibilities include processing the job and creating CAM programs for CNC lathes and 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC mills using Siemens NX.
- For the machining side, the responsibilities include setting up the machine, proving the program out, and performing a FAIR. In some cases, the job will be handed off to another machinist and in other cases, the responsibility will be to complete the rest of the job.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Enforce quality control measures to ensure the parts meet print specifications.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of machining experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of programming using CAM software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
