GRI is a leading Specialty Tire manufacturer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 80 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Europe, and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.
Global Rubber Industries (GRI) seeks a passionate, results-driven, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager for the USA. This challenging role requires an individual who can actively seek out and engage prospective clients while embracing the opportunity to pioneer and grow with a new specialty tire brand in the USA.
Job Profile:
- Previous experience working with Agricultural Tire Manufacturers in the US is preferred.
- Proven track record in selling predominantly Agricultural Tires to after-market dealers/distributors.
- Established connections with a substantial number of dealers/distributors and the capability to recruit dealers from the onset.
- Sales approach focused on value proposition over pricing.
- Understanding and readiness to put in the necessary work and effort required to establish GRI in the US market.
- Ability to establish new dealerships, effectively manage sales, and drive revenue and profitability for GRI.
- Development of strategic business plans regularly updated based on market dynamics and trends.
- Identification of new business opportunities by understanding customer requirements and market conditions.
- Collaboration with various departments to achieve strategic goals, including Marketing, Finance, and HR.
- Analysis of competitor activities and development of effective Go-To-Market strategies for GRI.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales information and preparing comprehensive reports for the Senior Team.
- Effective use of technology platforms like Salesforce CRM for customer management.
- Efficient management of expenses and team leadership, providing valuable feedback and support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in the specialty Tire Service Industry (B to B) and Agriculture.
- Management of a dealer network in a specific region within this business sector.
- Proven success in building sales with a new brand, including recruiting new distribution.
- Proficiency in technology-based platforms such as CRM and MS Office.
