About the Firm
UK based multi-strat is focused on adding a Power Trader to their expanding NY office. You'll be the first dedicated FTR trader, building this capability from the ground up with support from an established platform.
What you'll do:
- Launch and scale FTR strategies across ISOs of your choice
- Own full P&L responsibility—strategy development, risk management, execution, and capital allocation decisions
- Shape the roadmap: which ISOs to enter, which products to trade, how to scale
- Expand the team as the book grows with demonstrated success
This is an entrepreneurial build with established platform advantages (risk infrastructure, compliance, operations), a smaller NY office with access to decision makers and less bureaucracy combined with growth opportunity if you build a profitable book.
What we're looking for:
- 5 years managing profitable FTR positions across multiple ISOs
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategies independently
- Deep understanding of ISO market design, transmission constraints, and congestion dynamics
- Comfortable in a build-mode environment where you'll shape infrastructure, not inherit it
Compensation: Base plus 30% payout
