We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Servicing and Asset Management. The Assistant Manager – FHA/Bridge/Non-Agency, Securities & Document Management is a newly created position for the department. We are looking for an exceptional people manager who is highly organized and can innovate our processes for efficiency.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and inspire a team of analysts by setting goals, providing feedback, direction, guidance, updating SOPs, and conducting periodic performance reviews.
- Benchmark processes for efficiencies and innovation.
- Ensure departmental metrics are consistently met.
- Quality check loan documents once uploaded to the internal document retention system.
- Assist with the coordination of new CLO closings or transfers.
- Provide updates, metrics, and process improvement recommendations to management.
- Review all data entered into internal and external systems.
- Facilitate monthly audit of physical files.
- Conduct ongoing training for staff and new hires.
- Provide rating agency audit support to senior management, as needed.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- 0 to 2 years of people management experience.
- Multifamily real estate experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and delegate multiple projects.
