Human Resources Recruiter
Hopewell Junction, NY Hybrid - Mondays - Wednesdays in Person, Thursdays & Fridays Remote Work Available
Greystone Programs, Inc. is expanding our Human Resources Department and seeking an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to further our mission of supporting children, adults and families with autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to support the services we provide by attracting and hiring compassionate, mission-driven direct care professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting through to onboarding.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates who align with our values and commitment to person-centered care.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
- Advertise job openings across job boards, social media platforms, and local networks.
- Plan, coordinate and attend career fairs, hiring events, and college outreach activities.
- Screen resumes and applications; conduct interviews and recommend candidates.
- Extend offers and facilitate our new hire onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track recruitment metrics and provide analytics to evaluate efforts and return on investment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of recruitment experience, ideally in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit settings.
- Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with candidates and staff.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
