JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, ground, amenities, and common areas of the community meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Sawbuck is a brand new 172 unit mid rise in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland. Taking the charm of a historic neighborhood and pairing it with modern amenities, this community strives to charm its residents daily. The prime location is easily accessible by public transportation, and is close to a slew of entertainment, shopping, and dining establishments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

What your day might look like 

• Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service 

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner (including appliance repairs) 

• Prepare apartments for new move in’s by completing “make-ready” process 

• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas 

• Assist with vendor management and other duties 

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment 

  

What we are looking for 

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment 

• Previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing 

• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress 

• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively 

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

The hourly range for this role is $31.00 - $34.00

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
