What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lease Compliance Manager position at Greystar?
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Liaise with (1) Property Operations, (2) Regional Associates, (3) Corporate Departments, (4) NAA, TAA, Blue Moon, and (5) outside counsel.
- Assist as needed in responding to lease regulatory inquiries.
- Manage and respond to team member daily lease support requests.
- Encourage local team member involvement with NAA, local affiliates, and local counsel.
- Strong understanding of the lease including setup and generation, online leasing, screening systems, and others; develop relationships and work directly with systems support and vendors to expedite required changes.
- Manage the NAA, TAA and Blue Moon releases with Property Operations and Corporate Support Departments as needed.
- Manage Lease Compliance projects with operational teams and support departments.
- Identify lease document challenges/processes and work with the internal and external teams to make enhancements.
- Coordinate and work with the Property Management Systems teams on document management.
- Assist with the Lease Compliance reporting structure for state and property lease compliance health.
- Enhance the onboarding process for lease set up.
- Leverage relationships with NAA, local affiliates, and local counsel to assist with lease training and document needs.
- Work across all lines of the business to bridge gap on lease compliance issues.
- Coordinate with the National and Regional Compliance teams to monitor lease compliance with local requirements.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000
The base compensation rate will vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location, as applicable.
