We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. Duties
- Supervise and direct concrete crews on-site, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to meet project deadlines
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute concrete installations accurately
- Manage project schedules using construction management software
- Oversee quality control procedures, inspecting work for adherence to specifications and schematics
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement of materials using tools like HeavyBid or other estimating software
- Supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials like rebar, formwork, and concrete mixes
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety reports, and project progress using Bluebeam or similar digital platforms
Experience
- Proven management experience in heavy civil or commercial concrete construction projects
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction schematics
- Supervising teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms for scheduling and project tracking
- Knowledge of contracts, construction estimating, budgeting practices, and project management principles
- Hands-on experience with concrete placement techniques, formwork installation, reinforcement coordination, and curing processes
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for complex projects
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
