Detailed Job Description: This position will be in support of the NYS Tax Modernization Program and will be responsible for playing a lead role in the Integrated Account System (IAS) Modernization project. This program will encompass multiple projects to modernize legacy systems within the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the major areas under this modernization include Collections and Accounts Receivable, and Taxpayer Accounting. IAS Modernization includes converting the existing legacy mainframe systems onto new platforms. This position will actively participate in design, development, conversion, and testing activities.
