Overview
Looking for a four-day work week with nights, weekends, and holidays off? This is it! We are seeking a motivated, dependable, enthusiastic self-starter who is looking to join our dynamic team in helping the community we serve. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our overall mission to process gently used items and prep them to sell in a small retail setting. This includes performing a variety of physical tasks that include sorting, cleaning, and organizing donated items to be sold in an efficient manner. Your energy and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to our success. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, safety, and attention to detail are prioritized, and every task is essential to our overall goals. Dependability, punctuality, and organizational skills are essential.
Duties
- Assist with the sorting, organizing, cleaning, and movement of sales merchandise across the production floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and office/production areas by vacuuming, sweeping, and light mopping.
- Conduct routine inspections of sales merchandise to identify areas in need of organizing or maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with the store manager on priority items and tasks.
- Prior customer service experience and use of a cash register is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with basic tools and machinery is advantageous.
- Ability to perform light lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work Tues.-Fri. from 10am-4pm.
