Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and manage all aspects of refrigeration projects, including design, scheduling, budget management, and installation
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including budgets, timelines, and progress reports
• Manage project teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful project delivery
• Perform risk assessments and implement solutions to mitigate project risks
• Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing concerns and providing updates as needed
• Travel to project sites as required to oversee project progress and resolve any on-site issues
Qualifications
• Minimum of four years’ experience in project management within the construction, refrigeration or HVAC industry
• Technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, chillers, and industrial cooling equipment preferred
• Design experience would be an added bonus, but not needed
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, BuilderTrend)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
