Job Summary
Busy Personal Injury law firm looking to hire a full time experienced, detail-oriented paralegal. Candidate must be capable of handling all stages of negligence cases from intake to trial.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain client communication and update client database
- Coordinate investigations in house and with private investigators
- Gather and review and digest client medical records
- Communicate with insurance companies and defense counsel
- Maintain attorney calendar, schedule appointment, and depositions
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions along with exhibits thereto for service and filing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have effective time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
