The position is responsible for replenishment of raw materials, packaging, and related inputs used in food manufacturing, focusing on supply assurance, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and price negotiation.
Runs demand models and plan incoming purchase orders to support materials for nine food manufacturing lines. Monitors market trends, commodity pricing, and cost drivers; develop cost-saving initiatives and risk mitigation plans. Develops and implements category strategies for key ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- BS Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in procurement or buying roles within food or beverage manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food supply markets and commodity trends
- Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software, preferably NetSuite
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
