Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Live Tooling Specialist located in Houston, TX. The role involves operating and maintaining live tooling equipment to produce precision components that meet exact specifications. Day-to-day tasks include programming and setting up CNC lathes with live tooling, monitoring machine operations, performing quality checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficiency and quality standards. The candidate will also contribute to optimizing workflows and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC lathes with live tooling capabilities
• Strong understanding of precision machining and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining live tooling equipment
• Attention to detail and expertise in performing detailed quality checks
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and safety protocols is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications or related training in machining is a plus
• Previous experience in the oil and gas, aerospace, or government manufacturing sectors is an advantage
