POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Custodian (effective January 3, 2022)
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 8-hr, 10-month employment with benefits as specified in the Classified Agreement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated; able to multitask
- Must be able to lift and/or move 10 lbs. routinely
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to climb step ladders
- Must have the ability to add and subtract and to perform these operations using weight, measurement, volume, and distance
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides students and staff with a safe attractive, comfortable, and clean environment
- Empties trash
- Washes windows inside and outside
- Secures building each day
- Maintains lawn
- Shovels snow and remove debris from sidewalks
- Orders and maintains supplies
- OSHA compliant
- Maybe required to obtain a Pesticide User License
- Complies with School Board Policies and Regulations
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Participates in professional development activities
- Presents and communicates in a professional manner
- Performs other duties as assigned by Principal/Supervisor
