Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the operations of a dynamic women’s clothing distribution center. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, distribution operations, and team supervision. Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
- Implement process improvements utilizing lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to monitor inventory levels, optimize stock accuracy, and streamline workflows.
- Develop and manage budgets related to warehouse operations, including procurement, purchasing, and materials management.
- Coordinate demand planning and production scheduling to meet customer requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a secure warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management preferably in women's apparel or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, distribution management, and inventory control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and distribution operations.
