Our dealership has experienced the largest swing in market share change, so we are actively pursuing an Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant to join our ranks. You would be working on our Sales Team, assisting our clients through the purchasing process. Here at Gresham Subaru, we put forth a conscious effort to make sure everyone belongs! We are a very casual and fun group. We’ve always had a “Work-Hard, Play-Hard” mentality, but we work hard first. The ideal Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant is going to have a warm personality with a friendly demeanor. Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant Job Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchasing process, from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring a smooth and positive buying experience.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customers’ preferences, budget, and lifestyle in order to recommend the most suitable vehicle options.
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, conduct test drives, and clearly explain performance, safety, technology, and financing options.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Proactively prospect through phone calls, online leads, social media, networking events, and dealership traffic.
  • Qualify buyers by assessing needs, trade-in opportunities, and financing eligibility.
  • Present pricing, negotiate terms professionally, and close sales while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with finance and service departments to ensure seamless delivery and post-sale support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product inventory, manufacturer programs, incentives, and competitor offerings.

 

Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant Compensation & Benefits

The Pay Plan is commission-based – there is no limit on how much money you can make!

  • $4,000/mo guarantee for the first 90 days.
  • Up to $550 Minis on all used or new vehicles.
  • We offer CASH Spiffs WEEKLY.
  • Unit Bonuses start at 10.
  • Additional Bonuses for exemplary CSI.
  • Average 200-220 cars a month.

Qualifications:

Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant Qualifications

  • Prior automotive sales strongly recommended.
  • Strong work history.
  • Reliability and work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
