Position Summary:

Founded in 1997, Gresham Partners, LLC is a Chicago-based wealth management firm managing $10 billion in investments for a select group of ultra-high-net-worth families nationwide. The firm is distinguished by its independent thinking, investment strategy, and performance outcomes. We are seeking a motivated, operationally-minded team member for our Reporting Operations Team. Our team tracks client positions, reconciles portfolio data, manages information flow, and assists with balance sheet and performance reporting. The team is also assisting a major systems migration project. The Reporting Operations Analyst role will be based in Chicago.


The Reporting Operations Analyst performs three core functions:

  1. Conducting monthly close: loading and reconciling data from a variety of sources, both manual and automated, each month.
  2. Managing information flow: ensuring that ACD feeds, access to portals, and physical statements are set up correctly; managing email traffic to and from the firm.
  3. Reporting configuration and maintenance: building and maintaining all internal client reports, responding to requests for changes on an ad hoc basis; quality checking reports before delivery to clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and execute detailed checklist, including procedures for monthly/quarterly reporting processes.
  • Research and analyze data; respond to report questions, variances, and anomalies.
  • Load and reconcile data from various sources, including APX, and reconcile all other values monthly.
  • File and back up account statements for compliance purposes.
  • Maintain and monitor Canoe environment daily to ensure documents received are validated and in good order
  • Data entry: manually enter account statements that cannot be received digitally.
  • Issue resolution: understand, document, and follow through on production issues, working with Reporting Operations teammates, the broader Gresham team, and third-party service providers to resolve issues.
  • Manage the Client database: maintain Client and account set-up, position and transaction detail.
  • Review Client-level performance for accuracy; reconcile any breaks
  • Assist in firm software migration projects as necessary


Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two-plus years of work experience.
  • Two-plus years of work experience required; experience in financial services, banking, or related field highly preferred.
  • Experience in performance reporting using enterprise applications like d1g1t (Gresham’s system), Addepar, or Black Diamond highly preferred.
  • Experience with Advent APX or another enterprise portfolio accounting system highly preferred.
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Power BI dashboards strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in Microsoft stack (Dynamics, SharePoint, Power BI, Office 365) preferred
  • Experience with SQL databases a plus.
  • High degree of customer service, confidentiality, and urgency.
  • Flexible with and eager to help drive change.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to see a problem broadly.
  • High energy level; motivated; self-starter; can work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to live and work in the United States. Gresham Partners cannot sponsor Visas for this position.
  • Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000
