Overview
Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to oversee the Club’s Wellness Center and implement programs that promote the social, emotional, and overall well-being of our youth members, from elementary through teen years. The Wellness Coordinator will work closely with program staff, facilitate small group sessions, provide individual support, and connect families with relevant resources to foster a culture of health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead wellness initiatives that support the emotional, mental, and social well-being of members.
- Facilitate group workshops and discussions on topics such as stress management, self-esteem, and emotional resilience.
- Provide one-on-one wellness check-ins and guidance for members as needed.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based wellness programs in collaboration with staff.
- Serve as a liaison between members, families, and external resources for additional support when necessary.
- Organize and host parent workshops to enhance family engagement and awareness of wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Master's in social work is ideal (or currently pursuing MSW) but we will consider a candidate with a background in counseling, psychology, or wellness-related fields.
- Experience working with youth in a wellness, social work, or mental health setting.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Availability: Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 7:00 PM.
Salary
$30 - $35 per hour
