Position Summary:

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedules.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor and track production requirements
  • Assist Shop Manager to direct a smooth flow of work through the shop
  • Arrange timely transport of jobsinprocess to next operation
  • Monitor delivery performance of vendors
  • Coordinate inhouse schedule requirements to meet customers’ request dates
  • Expedite supplier orders
  • Communicate changes or issues impacting scheduled ship date
  • Support the quoting team with delivery estimates based on shop load and capacity utilization

  • Raw materials
  • Principles and processes for providing customer service including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures
  • Knowledge of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

Education:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience:

  • 24 years of experience in manufacturing, supply management, order fulfillment, or related area

Preferred Experience:

  • Visual Scheduler
  • Vantage MRP
  • Priority Dispatch

Physical Requirements:
