Position Summary:
Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedules.
Essential Job Functions:
- Monitor and track production requirements
- Assist Shop Manager to direct a smooth flow of work through the shop
- Arrange timely transport of jobsinprocess to next operation
- Monitor delivery performance of vendors
- Coordinate inhouse schedule requirements to meet customers’ request dates
- Expedite supplier orders
- Communicate changes or issues impacting scheduled ship date
- Support the quoting team with delivery estimates based on shop load and capacity utilization
Knowledge:

- Shop processes and workflow
- Raw materials
- Principles and processes for providing customer service including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures
- Knowledge of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

Physical Requirements:
